ABOUT RON HUMPHREYS
Ron Humphreys is a fully licensed and insured home inspector, home improvement contractor and Local 100 union HVACR Journeyman.

Ron started his career in construction in his hometown of Bellmore in Long Island, New York and had a successful company for many years in the kitchen and bathroom remodeling industry.

Ron moved to Maryland in 1998. After serving an apprenticeship in the DC local 100 and earning Journeyman status, Ron became the safety professional and assistant project manager and was responsible for over 180 union sheet metal workers at the Johns Hopkins 1.1 billion dollar project. When that project was completed, he went on to project manage and estimate for the union for several more years.
During this time Ron had five children and bought and sold 6 homes all of which had home inspections by different inspectors. After learning that some inspectors that he used received their license by way of being “grand fathered” into the license and did not have to be trained and pass a nationwide exam, Ron decided to become a home inspector to give home buyers a more qualified inspection.

Ron takes pride in his two decades worth of experience in the construction field and uses all of his licensed knowledge to best educate the perspective buyer in all areas of the new home. After all, this could quite possibly be one of the biggest financial investments the buyer makes.

In addition to his years of experience in the construction and safety fields, Ron is always educating himself in the home inspection industry and is currently completing his bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Southern New Hampshire University. Ron is also a member of InterNACHI and the Harford County Association of Realtors.
